4. General
a. A truck's hydraulic system is basically an airtight group of cylinders, valves and lines filled with fluid.
Pressure is created in the system when you step on the pedal. That pressure ends up at the wheel cylinders,
where it forces the shoes against the brake drums. On disk brakes, the fluid goes to the caliper pistons, which
push the brake pads against the rotors.
