The original front hydraulic brake hose on the M44-series trucks is too short. It breaks. Before it does, replace it with
NSN 4720-00-203-9515. The new hose is longer and doesn't fit the setup on the truck. The replacement procedure is in
Paragraph 4-10a of TM 43-0143, but basically is performed as follows.
