SECTION I. GENERAL INFORMATION
1-1. Scope.
Type of Manual: Operator and Intermediate Maintenance
Equipment Name: Hydraulic Shop
Purpose of Equipment To provide hydraulic repair and maintenance support for divisional aviation units.
This shop is utilized in conjunction with other maintenance shops in the AVIM support unit.
1-2. Maintenance Forms, Records and Reports.
Department of the Army forms and records used to maintain this equipment will be those prescribed by DA
PAM 738-751, The Army Maintenance Management System - Aviation (TAMMS-A).
1-3 Reporting Equipment Improvement Recommendations (EIR).
If your Hydraulic Shop needs improvement, let us know. Send us an EIR. You, the user, are the only one who
can tell us what you don’t like about your equipment. Let us know why you don’t like the design. Put it on an
SF 368 (Quality Deficiency Report). Mail it to: Commander, US Army Aviation Systems Command

1-4. Destruction of Army Materiel to Prevent Enemy Use.
Procedures for destroying Army materiel to prevent enemy use are listed in TM 750-244-1-4, Procedures for
Destruction of Aviation Ground Support Equipment (FSC 4920), to prevent Enemy Use.
1-5. Preparation for Storage or Shipment
For general technical information on preparation for storage and shipment refer to TM 55-1500-204-25/1 and
TM 743-200-1. For specific information to prepare the shop for storage or shipment refer to paragraph 2-12.

(3) Housed in a tactical, one side expandable, shelter (NSN 5411-01-124-1377).
