SECTION V. MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
3-12. General Information. This section provides repair or replacement instructions authorized at the Aviation Unit
Maintenance (AVUM) level. Repair or replacement of all other parts is to be done at the Aviation Intermediate
Maintenance (AVIM) level (annotated in parenthesis after the component to be maintained). The AVUM/AVIM
Maintenance procedures complies with the Maintenance allocation Chart (MAC), Appendix B.
