OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES (PMCS) INTRODUCTION
This work package contains the Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) required for the M9 ACE
Hydraulic Diagnostic Center (HDC) System. PMCS is a scheduled, step-by-step inspection and service of the vehicle
and vehicle components. Its purpose is to keep the vehicle in good condition and to identify and correct problems
before costly and time-consuming repairs are needed.
MAINTENANCE FORMS AND RECORDS
Use DA Form 2404, Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, to record periodic maintenance service
performed and faults corrected. The item number on the DA Form 2404 must be the same as the item number of
the PMCS. For information on maintenance forms and records, see DA Pam 750-8.
MECHANIC PARTICIPATION
The operator may perform operator PMCS (TM 5-2350-262-10) and may also help Field Maintenance perform field
PMCS and lubrication in accordance with TM 5-2350-262-10.
INTERVALS
HDC PMCS should be performed every week.
