REMOVAL
WARNING
Ensure that vehicle power is off and battery disconnected. Remove all jewelry, such as rings,
dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or disconnected battery ground cable contacts battery
positive terminal, a direct short will result, causing instant heating of tools, tool damage,
battery damage, or battery explosion. Failure to comply may result in severe injury or death.
1.
Remove screw (Figure 1, Item 1), lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 2), and wiring harness W1 lead 1070
(Figure 1, Item 3) from parking brake relay (Figure 1, Item 4) terminal B1. Discard lockwasher.

Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 10), from the compartment wall above the CBRN filter and remove wiring harness
lead 1069 (Figure 1, Item 11).

Remove dust cap (Figure 1, Item 8), four screws (Figure 1, Item 6), nutplate (Figure 1, Item 5), and wiring
harness W1 connector J1 (Figure 1, Item 9) from Hydraulic Diagnostic Center (HDC) disconnect bracket
(Figure 1, Item 7).

Pull wiring harness W1 leads 1070 (Figure 1, Item 3) and 1069 (Figure 1, Item 11) through wire clamps and
remove wiring harness W1 from vehicle.
