INSTALLATION
WARNING
Ensure that vehicle power is off and battery disconnected. Remove all jewelry, such as rings,
dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or disconnected battery ground cable contacts battery
positive terminal, a direct short will result, causing instant heating of tools, tool damage,
battery damage, or battery explosion. Failure to comply may result in severe injury or death.
1.
Thread wiring harness W1 leads 1070 (Figure 2, Item 3) and 1069 (Figure 2, Item 11) through wire clamps to
parking brake relay (Figure 2, Item 4) and battery box.
2.
Connect wiring harness W1 connector J1 (Figure 2, Item 9) to HDC disconnect bracket (Figure 2, Item 7) with
nutplate (Figure 2, Item 5), and four screws (Figure 2, Item 6). Attach dust cap (Figure 2, Item 8) to connector
J1.
3.
Install wiring harness W1 lead 1069 (Figure 2, Item 11) on compartment wall above the CBRN filter with bolt
(Figure 2, Item 10).
4.
Install wiring harness W1 lead 1070 (Figure 2, Item 3) on parking brake relay (Figure 2, Item 4) with new
lockwasher (Figure 2, Item 2) and screw (Figure 2, Item 1).
