Have assistant start engine and run at 1,800 rpm for 15 seconds.
h.
Observer quantity of hydraulic oil in container.
i.
Stop engine; relieve hydraulic pressure and connect hoses.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is internal leakage more than 1.25 qts (1.2 L) for 15 seconds?
DECISION
YES - Replace compensating pump (TM 5-2350-262-20).
NO - Go to Step (30).
